Who Am I?
My name is Magda Szczepaniak and I have a great passion for teaching my native language, Polish! I hold a Master degree in Polish Literature and Grammar from the University of Wroclaw (2003) and have extensive experience teaching Polish as a foreign language.
Since moving to Australia in 2011, I have taught Polish privately to dozens of students from Australia and New Zealand and also worked at the Brisbane Polish School in 2012.
All my students are different and I love private teaching, where I can help students reach their potential by tailoring lessons to suit their individual needs and learning styles.
I am passionate about Polish language, literature and culture. As a mother, I am also very interested in bilingualism and raising children who speak two languages.
Come and join one of my courses and see how much fun and rewarding learning Polish can be!
Magda has tought me the Polish language in private tuition over several years. I have found her to be professional, courteous and friendly at our lectures and meetings. I would strongly recommend Magda in any future endeavour she wishes to embark on.
I first started Polish Classes with Magda in 2012 when my Polish vocabulary consisted of little more than a few greetings and the names of some delicious Polish dishes. With Magda’s guidance I was able to improve my polish language skills to the point where I travelled solo around Poland using the Polish language to communicate. Magda’s classes are always well prepared and organised and she is able to explain complex Polish language concepts and grammar in a way that is easy understand. Her enthusiasm for the Polish language and culture is contagious and her patience makes her an effective teacher for students at any language level. I can highly recommend Magda to anyone who is considering studying the Polish language.
